Map of the Heart

Hello world! My name is Vivian Gu. I’m from Vancouver, BC, and I currently study psychology at McGill University. I’ve been drawing ever since I was a little girl, and right now I’m really into painting and collaging. I love integrating different forms of art, such as music lyrics or great literature, into visual art. A lot of my work has a deeper story or message, which is often hinted at through the text used within the piece. Currently, I’ve been exploring themes of human suffering, the self, and the interaction between the individual and the outside world. If you’d like to see more or want to get in touch, check out my personal website at http://viviangu.wix.com/gallery. I’d love to hear from you!
