Bushra Khalid is a painter living in Lahore, Pakistan. Born in 1990, she has a masters in painting from Punjab University, Lahore. Bushra is a conceptual artist who’s subject matter is mainly focused on women and everyday objects. With a tint of opp art elements, she creates an atmosphere surrounding the middleclass mentality, in which self-recognition plays an important role. Bushra also enjoys painting landscapes, but with a more realistic approach.
At present, she is working on a series exploring confusion and conflict within ones own self, and the effect that fate and society have on our personality and our lives.
