Edvard Derkert is an experienced graphic designer, illustrator and visual artist. He is equally at home with print as with digital publishing. He has worked for major Swedish publishers and magazines. As a fine artist he has exhibited in Sweden and Europe. Edvard Derkert’s artistic style is varied, but often in a collage like manner, and usually with a humorous twist.
As an illustrator he is best known for his conceptual illustrations turning abstract ideas up side down and making them apprehensible. Edvard Derkert has written books on art and is especially interested in the history of collage. He lives in Stockholm, Sweden.
