Pierre Cognet-Ponomareff was born in France, but now live in Kuopio, Finland. He graduated as a silversmith and continues his jewelry studies, while practicing photography and others forms of graphic arts as a hobby. His influences and inspiration come mostly from music, nature, other people works and movies; Pierre particularly enjoys abstract photography, Art Deco and 80’s style as well as ancient art, even if it isn’t necessarily reflected in his creations.
